SCAD FASH

Objective: The SCAD Fashion Museum in Atlanta is hosting a fundraiser event to raise money for a scholarship fund. I needed to design and produce a prototype of a high end invitation that could be sent to invitees.

Approach: The exhibition (at the time) was Emily de Borchgrave’s “Fashioning Art from Paper.” I took inspiration from a dress I photographed and created a heavy weight paper invitation that rewarded the invitee for exploring its relationship between patterns and texture. The entire invitation was self printed, hand cut, and assembled.
